A new experience in wetlook fiction!
The Soaking Network is an ambitious new project which aims to present an ongoing fictional work in a new way. Rather than completing the work in isolation and then publishing it after completion, The Soaking Network presents the story in real time. The characters deliver their story through their own blogs, allowing the reader to experience the story unfolding around him.
The story begins in November 2011 as the protagonist, 17 year old Charlotte Suthren, sets up her first blog and Twitter account. Secretly fascinated with the idea of people getting wet while fully clothed, she finds herself gradually losing her inhibitions as she admits her secret fetish first to her online readers (safe in the knowledge that nobody she knows is reading), then gradually opening up to her real life friends.
As the story progresses, other characters in Charlotte's circle of friends come online with their own blogs, telling their own aspects of the story and allowing the reader to become immersed in their goings-on as if it were real life.
You can follow the main threads of the story on this site as they unfold, but for added enjoyment you can also follow the characters' blogs and Twitter posts in real time, or via our Facebook page. The Soaking Network can be as interactive as you want it to be!
